BOOKING POLICY The session fee is paid in advance to secure your chosen date. It is non-refundable should you cancel, but is transferable to another date in the event you wish to amend your booking with at least 24 hours' notice. Special consideration is made for maternity and newborn sessions. The session fee does not include any prints, you will receive the high-resolution digital negatives via a private online gallery. For in-home and on-location sessions, client forfeits their session fee paid to book the session if they cancel. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 24 hours prior to the date of the session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time. If Stacey Blackwell: Modern Los Angeles Doula cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualties, strike, an act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall reschedule the session - the session fee will not be refunded to the Client. In the case of camera failure, inclement weather, or any other unforeseen incident that prevents Stacey Blackwell from shooting on a scheduled date a new date will be scheduled. The client hereby grants to Stacey Blackwell: Modern Los Angeles Doula and its legal representatives and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right to use and publish photographs of the client or in which the client may be included, for editorial, trade, advertising, and any other purpose and in any manner and medium; to alter the same without restriction; and to copyright the same. The client hereby releases and discharges Stacey Blackwell: Modern Los Angeles Doula and its legal representatives and assigns from all claims and liability relating to said photographs. The client understands that images posted on Modern Los Angeles Doula social media have the ability to go viral on the web and other media platforms. The client understands the nature of comments, views, and shares associated with this and releases Stacey Blackwell: Modern Los Angeles Doula of any and all liability and compensation arising from viral posts. Completion Schedule: Digital processing can take up to 4-6 weeks.
